Great price but the "Connected" part is using your phone camera with their app to snap a picture of the readout .

@Mugwumper - Yeah, I picked this up about a year and a half ago. The scale displays a code and you use the app to record the weight. It's easier than typing in your weight into the phone, but not as easy as app-connected (for example) Withings scales like this one http://bensbargains.com/deal/withings-ws-30-wi-fi-scale-75-at-thinkgeek-342815/ (which is 5x as much).

But all in all, I've been happy with it for the time I've had it. For $15, definitely worth it IMO.
