Great deal if you can get it. The best part about the licensing is that you can deactivate PC's that you've install it on and then install on others. No more crazy long codes required.
I don't think it's any .edu address. It says a little further down the page "Office 365 Education for Students is an Office 365 plan that is available for free to students who attend academic institutions that have purchased Office for faculty and staff available at www.Office.com/GetOffice365."
One thing i learned, this is already available for students who are enrolled in a school within a microsoft environment. They just login to their portal page, and will be redirected to office365
If you're an NYU alum, you already qualify for this. I've been using it for a while now. Perhaps other schools have the same deal. Get in touch with your alum office.
